The biggest wheelchair basketball tournament in the country will take place at Shellharbour City Stadium and will feature 14 teams from across the nation.
“It’s our biggest tournament for the year and the biggest tournament in the country. This year we’ve got 14 teams coming from all across Australia, we’ve got a Victorian team, three Queensland teams and junior teams as well.” Jessica McMahon from Wheelchair Sports NSW said.
Games will start from 9am on Saturday and 9.30 on Sunday, with play running through to around 6pm on both days. Finals on Sunday will commence at 11am. The Masters event, which kicked off on Wednesday will conclude on Thursday at Kiama Leisure Centre.
McMahon urged those interested to head to the stadium and watch the variety of skills on display from some of the country's top players.
