Warwick Farm based trainer Marc Conners told Sky Sports Radio on Tuesday that Costin would pilot his in-form sprinter at Caulfield.
It’s a sensational opportunity for Costin, who is one of the state’s most promising younger riders but has struggled to stay in the saddle after a luckless 12 months.
She was badly concussed when she came off her mount in a barrier trial in October last year,
It kept her sidelined for five months.
Just days after making her return, Costin then broke both her wrists in a racing incident at Wellington.
Coincidentally Costin’s last winner came for Conners when she saluted on Maddison Avenue at the end of last month. She rides Coys for Conners at Canterbury on Wednesday.
