Three baby Meerkats playing ball.
The team at Symbio Wildlife Park have captured them in all their adorableness in a video released to their Facebook page.
The pups, now two months old, have just started venturing out on exhibit with parents 'Aya and Penfold', and have taken a particular liking to the animal enrichments that the keepers have been preparing each day. Particularly the ball enrichment which is designed to make them learn the skills of foraging from their parents, along with providing them with additional stimulation to have fun, and fun they have.
Symbio Wildlife Park marketing manager Kevin Fallon said at first the triplets did not quite know what of it all.
“But once they saw their parents doing it, they mimicked their behaviour and it very quickly became a fun game for them,” he said.
“The triplets are all going exceptional, and each day are following their parents out on exhibit and as soon they come out their is a synchronised 'Awwwwwwww' from the all the visitors lucky enough to see them. They have definitely became micro celebrities and instant favourites for visitors to Symbio.”
The Meerkats aren't the only adorable Spring arrivals. The wildlife park has also welcomed baby Pygmy Marmosets, Common Marmosets, Kangaroo and Wallaby joeys and some farmyard babies.
