The 24-year-old orchestrated a beautiful proposal for his girlfriend of two-and-a-half years – and mother to his son Hudson – Brooke Turton at North Wollongong on Saturday evening.
The pair had been dining nearby with friends when Mr Munroe got up to go to the bathroom.
Fourty-five minutes later he was still to return but asked his beloved to meet him near the water’s edge.

“I had my son in the pram and I was … really cold so I wasn’t happy,” Miss Turton, 21, told the Illawarra Mercury.
“Eventually I walked down and I saw he was there with the signs and the ring and I just burst into tears.”
Bamboo torches and tealight candles surrounded a number of signs which read “Monkey, you’re my everything, I’m so in love with you, will you marry me?”
She said yes.
Miss Turton admitted her boyfriend was a “bit of a charmer” and romance was something he has always been good at.
This has included sending flowers to her work, buying her gifts like new clothes and make-up brushes plus whisking her out to dinner on a whim.
