The governing body confirmed they will review incidents in the third and fourth quarter of Illawarra’s 105-96 victory at WIN Entertainment Centre.
The two clubs came together after the main change when Hawks big-man Nick Kay was fouled hard by Brisbane’s Adam Gibson.
Bullets centre Tom Jervis went after Illawarra import Demitrius Conger in the aftermath.
Five players were given fouls in the melee after a long deliberation from officials which took more than five minutes.
In the fourth quarter Conger and Jervis came together again, with the latter forced to the locker room as blood trickled down his face.
Conger appeared to catch Jervis, who later returned to the court, with an elbow when the pair went up to grab a rebound.
The NBL will release its finding from the incident on Tuesday.
