The Illawarra Cookbook comes from former UOW student Stefan Posthuma-Grbc at Quicksand Publishing, with a range of around 50 contributors from the north to the south.
Photographer Tess Godkin has been busy snapping culinary delights from salmon dished at South Sailor in Thirroul, to cold brew at Lee and Me in Wollongong and desserts at Caveau.
Mr Posthuma-Grbc will also present a cooking show on community radio station VOX FM each Monday for the next six weeks.
Previous cookbooks released from the publisher highlight cuisine from the South Coast, Southern Highlands and Canberra.
