The development application is approved and the inflatable water park made in China is arriving in Sydney on Thursday ready for installation from November 20.
David Fraser, of Woonona, is the man behind Waliscags Water Worx. It is an extension of the jumping castle business he has run since 2003. With construction taking place in coming weeks Mr Fraser is this week taking applications for positions via email at employment@waliscags.com.au and expects to fill 80 casual positions.

Waliscags Water Worx will be a permanent feature of Dapto Showground from December 2 to February 25. It will be open daily from 9am to 5pm weekdays and until 7pm on the weekend.
“In January this year I realised there was an opportunity to put a water park in the Illawarra area and started exploring that,” he said.
“I came and had a chat to the showground and they were extremely excited about it. I then when to China and spoke to some manufacturers over there.”
If things go well this summer he is planning to introduce a second water park during the summer of 2018/19.
Entry to the park on the south-eastern side of the showground next to the freeway will be free to make it attractive to families.
Those planning to do the different water activities can purchase a wrist band in advance online or buy one at the park.
Mr Fraser wants to make it an ideal family attraction where everyone can come. There will be a limit on the number of people who can ride the attractions at any one time.
“There won’t be any queues,” Mr Fraser said.
There will be a capacity of around 250 in the water at any one time. And that is why bookings are encouraged online at www.waterworx.fun.
The site is around 9000 sqm and there a canteen and plenty of shade from the existing trees in an area ideal for picnics.
Around 600,000 litres of water will be recycled through a professional filtration system for the five pools that make up the park. The individual pool activity pools are each about 25 metres across.
And there is one long double slide around eight metres high and 40 metres long.
There will be activities that provide something for everyone including toddlers.
After Mr Fraser chose a manufacturer he then told them what he wanted.
And what is being shipped into Sydney this week is a purpose built water park to his specification especially designed for the Wollongong community.
