The four-bedroom home is at 775 Lawrence Hargrave Drive, Coledale.
According to Australian Property Monitors, the home last sold in 2014 for $1,685,000.
Selling agent, Belle Property Wollongong principal Darren Kay said the property offered cul-de-sac privacy, and was a short stroll to Coledale Beach and rock pool.
“There’s been a lot of interest so far from gentrification through Sydney, and also local buyers looking for a beachside property,” he said.
“The attraction is that it’s an architect-designed home that provides ample living spaces, not only internally but externally as well, with ocean and beach views from various areas of the home."
Mr Kay said the Illawarra’s northern suburbs remained in high demand.
“You’ve got buyers from Sydney not only looking for weekenders, but also to relocate and be within an easy 60-minute drive south of Sydney,” he said.
“They’re relocating down here for the lifestyle; they can live on the beach in an amazing property."
Features include five terrace, balcony and courtyard venues over dual levels; open-plan family living/dining area; gourmet gas kitchen displaying stone benchtops; master quarters with designer ensuite, walk-through robe and terrace; and double garaging.
The home will be auctioned on Friday, November 17.
