The program, which saw 96 children attend throughout its duration last season, will run during the month of November, with sessions taking place every Tuesday and Thursday evening.
Club President Tony Ryan said the academy will look to build on the success of last year and labelled it a good opportunity for both boys and girls of all abilities to develop a full range of AFL skills in a fun, friendly environment.
“We have specialist coaches for each age group to ensure the program is run professionally with the emphasis on skill development, fitness and most importantly for the kids to have a bit of fun.” Ryan said.
“There are eight sessions but we don’t not expect kids to go to each session.”
The sessions are run by Tigers senior coach and Swans Academy coach Leigh Forsyth and are free of charge.
