The X-Factor winner dropped by to perform and thank the youngsters for their fundraising efforts for the children’s charity.
Last year Cyrus did a similar thank you gig at Dapto Public School.
But this year Woonona East Public School raised the most for KidzWish from all participating Illawarra schools.
KidzWish marketing manager Karouna Michael said it was a big day for the Woonona East Public School students.
He said students were treated to a 10-minute performance from Cyrus.
‘’He even took time out to take group photos with each class, signed posters and took a few selfies and a couple of videos,’’ Mr Micheal said.
‘’Huge thanks to all the schools that participated in this year's fundraising campaign and congratulations to Woonona East Public School for raising the most funds.’’
KidzWish will put the money towards their new facility in Flinders.
Construction is set to start this week and plans include six therapy rooms, a music and dance studio, a multi-purpose sports hall, administration rooms and a covered play area.
