Healthy Cities Illawarra, the University of Wollongong and La Trobe Business School are planning a conversation around the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and what they mean for organisations.

Keynote speaker at the Novotel on November 15 is Australian Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility managing director Dr Leeora Black who will talk about the global goals and why they are important for Australia and the Illawarra.

In 2015 all United Nations countries adopted a set of goals to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all as part of a new sustainable development agenda.

For the goals to be reached over the next 15 years, an intersectoral approach is needed where everyone plays a part

Numbers are limited for the free breakfast will provide a chance to gain insights from panelists representing local government, education, industry, not-for-profit organisations and the community sector.
