The Mick On Wheel’s juggernaut continues to grow with his anthem-like video for Australia receiving more than 15,000 views on YouTube and Facebook in just a few months, taking his overall YouTube popularity to well over 100,000 views and climbing.
It has been two years since Mick On Wheels (Mick Sattin) wowed the judges on the reality TV show X-Factor, receiving a rare standing ovation from all four superstar judges and the 5000-strong X-Factor crowd.
Recognised as “the singer in a wheelchair”, Mick has never viewed himself as having a disability.
In contrast, Mick defines himself as having “ability” not a “disability”.
“Whilst I may not be able to walk, it’s never stopped me doing anything,” Mick said.
“In fact, I believe I have been given a special gift with my voice that I need to share with Australia,” he said.
The album launch is on Friday, November 24, at the City Diggers Club, Wollongong from 7pm with support from Ryan Beveridge.
