Hockey Dad’s new album and Fairgrounds festival set times

Windang duo Hockey Dad have announced their second album Blend Inn will be released through South Coast label Farmer & The Owl via Intertia on February 9.

The follow up to 2016’s Boronia was recorded in Seattle earlier this year in the same studio legendary grunge band Nirvana is said to have made their last recording before the death of singer Kurt Cobain.

Billy Fleming previously told the Illawarra Mercury to expect a sadder surf rock sound than usual. While a taster has already been released with the new single Homely Feeling.

The boys next local gig will be at Berry’s Fairgrounds festival in December.
