The Flame have already unveiled seven members of their squad for the 2018 State League season. Djordje Uzelac, Dion Sterjovski, Martin Thompson, Darren Jones, Andrew Bova, Cameron Hanson and Matthew White have all penned deals.
Robaard is still finalising deals for several more players, but was satisfied with how the South Coast’s recruitment was going.
“It can be a bit hard for people to jump on-board because of that fear of the unknown but we have had a lot of players come over,” he said.
“We still are trialling a few players and talking to a few, but we are getting closer to a full squad.
“We have a solid base now as well.”
Neil Mineef will be the 20’s coach while Jones will be the 18’s coach.
