Illawarra will be looking to rebound from a string of poor representative performances when they host Sutherland and Sydney in a Kingsgrove Cup double header at Dalton Park.
The team, led by Nathan Fitzgerald, is vastly different to last week’s Country Championships side and White, returning in his role of wildcard selection, is confident they can turn things around.
“Hopefully we get a couple of wins.” White said. “We’re confident we can prove Illawarra can play competitive cricket and these games aren’t going to be a walk in the park for the Sydney teams.”
The South Coast Crew will head to Orange for the conclusion of their Regional Bash pool stages. Led by Oak Flats all rounder Brynley Richards, the team will play two must win games against the Central West Wranglers and Orana Outlaws.
