CONVOY ROUTE
Nearly 1500 motorbikes and trucks will take part in the annual Illawarra Convoy for charity on Sunday.

The cavalcade will depart under police escort from Illawarra Coal’s West Cliff Colliery on Appin Rd around 8.15am with the end destination the Croome Road Sporting Complex.
It will wind its way down Mt Ousley, through Warrawong and past Stockland Shellharbour, then onto Croome Road, Albion Park.
Trucks will also join the convoy from the Old Princes Highway at Darkes Forest.
The convoy will be escorted by police travelling southbound on Mount Ousley Road, Five Island Road, Primbee Bypass, Windang Road, Shellharbour Road and Lake Entrance Road.
Speed limit reductions and lane closures will be in place along these roads between 4:30am and 1pm.
WHERE TO WATCH
The best vantage points to watch the convoy include any of the overpasses on the F6 to Master’s Rd; Master’s Rd, Coniston; King St, Warrawong; Windang Rd, Windang and Shellharbour Rd, Shellharbour.
The action will continue with a free family fun day at the Croome Road Sporting Complex.
Sneaky Sound System, Darryl Braithwaite, Lah Lah’s Big Live Band, Illawarra band Lyon Estate plus motorcross stunt riders will be among the acts on the day.
