Waliscags Water Worx owner David Fraser said the pools were all in place now and being filled and the filtration system will be installed on Friday.
Mr Fraser said the pools will use 600,000 litres of water and are being serviced with state of the art automatic chlorinating system to guarantee a safe and healthy swim.
“We have installed five pools, one giant slide and an inflatable toddler zone,” he said.
Motorists driving past Dapto Showground on the M1 have been watching the water park take shape this week and that has already been driving bookings online at www.waterworx.fun.
“Everyone is noticing it driving past. It is very exciting. We have had a number of party pass packages bookings made as well for groups of 12 people or more,” Mr Fraser said.
After more than 300 applications for positions 80 people were employed following 175 interviews and all will do their Royal Life Saving Society training in two groups of 40 next Wednesday before the attraction splashes into action on the second day of Summer the following Saturday. The park will then be open every day except until February 25 except Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
