Warm, gentle interiors set homes at Cammeray apart from the crowd. Small touches such as charcoal tapware, herringbone tiling and detailed cabinetry create a welcoming interior to homes. "They've gone for something a little bit different, they've gone for a French Provincial-Hamptons style throughout," says agent for the property Samantha Morrissey.
Interiors blend these classic styles with modern sensibilities, featuring large open plan living areas at the centre of the homes. Designer kitchens overlook the space with stone island benchtops, gas cooking and plentiful storage space.
Sunny courtyards sit amid the leafy surrounds, providing a private retreat. Upstairs, master bedrooms offer a secluded retreat, with an en suite and private balcony.
Floorplans offer flexibility, boasting either an additional living space or a study. Generous proportions ensure these townhouses feel like established homes. The complex is comfortably sized, with just eight homes in total. "Compared with a lot of other developments in the area, it is a boutique complex," says Morrissey.
As an established suburb, Turner boasts pleasant parkland, good schools and a range of amenity. Green space is in good supply, with Haig Park and Sullivans Creek just round the corner.
The suburb is also within easy reach of Canberra's hotspots. Canberra's Centre, Civic, the Australian National University, Braddon and the Dickson shops. Leafy MacLeay street sits quietly away from the bustle of Northbourne Avenue, but close enough to give residents easy access to the light rail. "You get the benefit of being in a beautiful leafy street, but you're in walking difference to the Canberra Centre, walking distance to the light rail," says Morrissey.
Construction has begun at Cammeray, with completion expected in March 2018. Prospective buyers have the chance to walk through homes before purchase, to get a feeling for the space. Homes feature double-glazed windows throughout, ducted reverse cycle heating and cooling and large double garages with internal access.
About 50 per cent of homes at Cammeray are still available for sale.

With just four townhouses, Soraya is truly a boutique development.
A crisp colour scheme blending white with timber floorboards creates an airy feeling throughout the homes. High ceilings and large windows capture natural light within the spacious interiors. A large entryway frames the open plan living area, with spaces designed for seamless flow. Options such as a study nook and rumpus room ensure the family has plenty of space to work and play.
Homes boast ducted heating and cooling, instantaneous hot water systems, double glazing and double lock-up garages. Two and three bedroom homes are available. Sitting in the heart of Turner, homes are close to parkland, schools and shops.
Northbourne Avenue and the Australian National University are both a short walk away, connecting these homes with greater Canberra.
