The band formed in early 2014 from a suburban garage in Cordeaux Heights. The trio consists of Ben Cauduro on vocals/guitar/keys, Xavier Lardner on bass/guitar and Alec Adams on drums/keys.
The group recorded their debut EP both at Main Street Studios in Fairy Meadow and their family homes throughout 2017, with Xavier Lardner and Adam Jordan recording and mixing the record.
While the EP was released on November 18, the band are already currently recording 40 tracks which will make up their double-album expected to be released by mid February next year.
“It’s going to be a very electronic album,” Xavier Lardner said. “We wanted to make music people can ‘vibe’ a bit harder to with lots of drum sampling and more sophisticated song-writing.”
The band will be hosting a surprise house party early in January but are keeping the date and location a secret until after the new year ticks over so stay tuned to their facebook page for updates facebook.com/thefrancosaus.
