The ZZ Top legend will kick off the four-date tour with the first two concerts scheduled for Anita’s Theatre in Thirroul on January 5 and 6.
The Up Close and Personal show includes Gibbons’ telling his life stories mixed with some of his favourite tunes and riffs. He’ll be accompanied by long time friend and Hot Rod guru Jimmy Shine.
Gibbons will be in Australia for a holiday and to catch-up with friend – and tour promoter – Rodney Brewer, who’ll be showing his mate some of the best beers and car shows our country has to offer.
The tour will also stop by Newcastle and Brisbane.
