Executive director Dax Eddy said many people were flocking to the large water based theme park as visitors and tourists to the region take advantage of the warm summer swimming weather.
Mr Eddy said they were choosing the Illawarra based attraction because of the world class rides and attractions it offered following major investment in the park over the last decade.
“The Perfect Storm, Jamberoo’s $5 million signature high-thrill water ride continues to be the main attraction with over 65,000 guests experiencing it in the month of December alone. With warm summer weather forecast for the next few weeks and visitation numbers increasing to the Kiama region, thanks to the continuing efforts of Destination Kiama, we are looking forward to a busy summer here at the park”.
Dive In movies are also proving a popular option for cool summer fun and entertainment at Jamberoo Action Park. The Dive In Movie season started on Saturday when around 500 people sat on inflatable tubes in the wave pool for Finding Dory. Which was the first of five Dive-In Movies scheduled for screening over the next month.
Mr Eddy said the activity was seen by many as a perfect way to finish off a day of thrills, adventure and excitement. The Dive-In Movies were initiated to provide fun for all the family “with the kids floating around in tubes on the bay whilst their parents relax on sun lounges on the beach”.
The next Dive in Movie is The Lego Batman Movie on Saturday from 6pm.
