Well-known broadcaster Lindsay ‘The Doctor’ McDougall will be the man behind the microphone for the new program, which will air weekdays between 3pm and 6pm from next Monday.
McDougall is no stranger to the ABC, having been part of its triple J family for 10 years. He joined triple J in 2005, hosting the breakfast show with Frenzal Rhomb bandmate Jay Whalley, and later with Myf Warhurst.
He went on to host his own drive show, before leaving the ABC in 2015.
McDougall will be joined by ABC producers Rory McDonald, who has been the ABC Grandstand content director for the past seven years, and Jack Cupitt.
In October, the ABC announced Wollongong would be one of 19 regional radio stations to be streamed via mobile and online by March.
