After the incident police from Wollongong Local Area Command attended Wollongong Hospital to speak with the man while further inquiries were conducted.
Police allegedly located and seized a bag containing a quantity of methylamphetamine (ice), a pen gun and ammunition.
The man is alleged to have been riding a motor cycle erratically on Crown Street, Wollongong when he collided with a white Toyota Camry at the intersection of Mangerton Road.
Emergency services were called to the scene at about 6.30pm and the man was treated for a number of injuries.
He was taken to Wollongong Hospital with serious but not-life threatening injuries.

‘’Once he is healthy enough for discharge, it is proposed police will transport him to Wollongong where he will probably be charged with various offences relating to the property found,’’ Insp Walker said.
