According to fitness expert Lukas Chodat, there are plenty of substitutes for the gym session when you’re not feeling up to it.
Some of them include:
Ride a bike for 20 minutes down the local bike track.
Have a swim at the local pool or in your backyard.
Do a series of maximal push ups, prone holds and squats.
Go for a 20-minute run around your block or at the local park.
These alternatives will still have you moving and break the routine for you.
