Hockey Dad In Store
Windang duo Hockey Dad have just released their new album, Blend Inn, and touring Australia’s east coast to sign some records and play some songs for free.
They’ll be at Music Farmers in Wollongong from 6pm-9pm.

Australia’s largest open mic comedy competition returns to Wollongong Town Hall at 8pm.
See the next batch of budding comics put their best foot forward in Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s RAW Comedy – Australia’s largest and most prestigious open mic competition.

Lunar New Year
Nan Tien Temple in Berkeley is going all out for Chinese New Year with celebrations beginning on Thursday with a New Year’s Day incense offering (11am) and Toll the Bell of Peace to welcome the new year at midnight.
Friday will have a Chinese New Year’s Day lino dance at 10:15am and 1pm, with an offering to Buddhas Dharma Function (11am).

Guy Sebastion on tour
Due to overwhelming demand Guy Sebastian is returning with his Conscious Tour to the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre in Nowra.
He’s on stage from 7.30pm, all tickets $66.90.
Food Truck Fair
Across Friday and Saturday Corrima’s Ziems Park will have an array of food trucks to sample from 4pm to 10pm.
There will be a dedicated dessert section plus boutique retail stalls.
There’ll also be a kids corner to keep the little ones entertained – $20 for unlimited rides, plus a DJ spinning tunes all night.
Red Point Artist Exhibition Opening Night
The Red Point Artists’ gallery in Port Kembla has had a face lift and the collective are wanting to show it off.
The group are holding their 10th Anniversary Exhibition of different mediums, and hope to encourage other creatives to use the space themselves.
Wynne Gibson said they’ve completely renovated the inside: “we just want people to come and enjoy it”.
The exhibition runs from Friday February 16 (opening night) until February 21 at the gallery on 100 Wentworth Street.

Free Outdoor Movie
Finding Dory at Thirroul Beach Reserve. Family friendly event starting at 6pm, movie screens at 8pm.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase at the reserve. Kids activities on site also.
Shane LadyMoon hosts this night of burlesque cabaret fun at the Wollongong Builders Club from 7pm.
Also performing are Rebelle Velveteen; Marlena Dali; Malika Slutaris; Mama La Roux; Natalie Miller; Mae de la Rue and Ashleigh Mill.
This is an accessible venue, with an AUSLAN interpreter.

Motor Fest and Car Show
The Gerringong Lions Club is holding their second annual event at Cronin Oval, sponsored by Gerringong Automotive and Shannon's Insurance.
Around 250 vehicles including classic and collectable cars of every description, hot rods, modern and exotic, performance and trikes will be on site – plus food stalls.
Entry if $5 for adults and children U/12 free. All money raised will be donated to Prostate Cancer Research.
This event coincides with the renowned Gerringong Markets, providing an opportunity for visitors to beautiful Gerringong to enjoy both events.

Gratitude On A Plate
Formerly known as the Embrace Life Festival, organisers have shifted their focus to food for the rebranded Gratitude on a Plate at the Illawarra ITEC Centre, Miller Street in Coniston. 10am to 4:30pm.
It celebrates all forms of nourishment with cooking demos, workshops, short films, yoga, music, meditation, children’s activities and “The Conscious Marketplace”.
Chamber Philharmonia Cologne
This German orchestra is on tour and will bring their classical music to the Christ Church, Terralong Street in Kiama at 8pm.
