With separate teams representing Wollongong and Illawarra, a total of 32 teams ranging in age from nine years old up to 17 years old made the journey.
The most successful team was the Wollongong 17-year-old boys, who finished atop their pool with six wins and a draw. Victories over Baulkham Hills and Souths saw the side move through to the final, however they fell just short, losing to Central Coast 2-1 in a tight match.
The Illawarra 13 and 16-year-old boys teams made the semi-finals, losing to Parramatta and Central Coast in the final four.
A number of girls teams also progressed through to the final four, with the Illawarra 10-year-old and Wollongong 16-year-old teams reaching the semi-finals. The Illawarra side overcame Cronulla 3-2 in a close quarter-final before falling to Nepean 5-1 in the semi-final.
