Hawks coach Rob Beveridge lauded rising star Nick Kay’s versatility after the forward produced yet another standout display in the club’s win over Melbourne United.

With starting big-man AJ Ogilvy (hip) back on the sidelines, Kay spent large portions of the round 19 encounter filling in it at centre while tallying a season-high 27 points.
“That's the versatility we have with him," Beveridge said.
"We are trying to develop him to be that inside, outside player.
"Right now his bread and butter is one of the best low post players you have.
"It's one of those things that you have to expand his game, but I wouldn't say he will ever be purely a five.
"He needs to be that combo four-five and use his mobility. I don't think in the future I would always have him at the five spot. He just had to do it [against United]."
Like the vast majority of Hawks players, Kay is unsigned for next season and will undoubtedly receive offers from around the league.
