The property, which has been a popular holiday home for five decades will be auctioned.
The three-bedroom home at 16 Haig Street will go under the hammer on Saturday, March 17.
It has a price guide of $2.2 million.
One of the property’s selling agents, One Agency Downie & Denison-Pender principal Kane Downie said the property has been family-owned as a holiday house for 50 years.
He said the long-time Sydney owners were now selling.
“It is in quite good condition for its age, and Haig Street is one of those streets where very few properties come up in,” he said.
“This property is very recognisable to a lot of locals.
“Since it hit the web I’ve had a lot of locals ring me about it… But it’s already getting a lot of Sydney traffic, a lot of people from Sydney wanting to know more about it.”
The property at 10 Haig Street sold for $1.95 million in 2015.
Regarding his current listing, Mr Downie said it was rare that a property in this tightly held pocket of Wombarra was on offer.
Mr Downie described it as a “quintessential beach house”.
“It is located in a street of absolute ocean front showcasing stunning water and mountain views that stretch across the beach in an elevated blue-ribbon position.”
He said the “no through road nature of this location” combined with the beach directly across the road would also be appealing.
“Alternatively the 735sqm block lends itself to incredible development potential.
“Surrounded by high-end quality built homes, the location is definitely worth investing in.”
Other features include the original kitchen and bathroom, as well as a private rear yard and garden shed.
