Junior cricketers prepare for grand final day

The matchups for this weekend’s junior grand finals have been confirmed, with eight clubs to be represented across the six divisions. 

Keira will take on Northern Districts Blue in the under 12A final after defeating Wests Red in the semi-final. The Butchers qualified after defeating club-mates Northern Districts White in the semi-final. Dapto will play Keira in the Under 12B final.

Wests will face Dapto in the under 14A final, with Oak Flats to take on Corrimal in the under 14B final. Wests defeated Kiama in the first semi-final, with Dapto beating Keira in the second semi-final.

The under 16A final will see Northern Districts and Dapto face off, after both sides recorded dominant semi-final victories. The Butchers claimed a nine-wicket win over Wollongong, with Dapto bowling Keira out for 23 to claim a 98-run victory. Jayden Zahra-Smith claimed 3-7 in the win. 

Shellharbour will take on the Razorats in the under 16B final.
