Easter is the perfect time to visit the Southern Highlands … it’s great for shopping and experiencing the countryside in an invigorating climate. There is so much to see and do with picturesque villages, national parks, lookouts, picnic areas and relaxing drives. Being autumn, the leaves of trees are spectacular.
Chelsea Park is located in Burradoo only two kilometres from Bowral so there’s easy access to the boutique shops, cafes, restaurants and other attractions.
An Art Deco mansion with commanding views over mature gardens, it’s for those who appreciate something a little different.

The mansion was designed by Ethel Noreen Garry, a creative person ahead of her time who was inspired by her travels in the 1920s. Her hand painted furniture was sold in David Jones and with her sister she opened the first interior decorating shop in Bowral.
“At Chelsea Park we make sure our guests are comfortable and enjoy all the region has to offer,” owner Davidia Williams said. “If only we could bottle it so you could take it home but since we can’t we will spoil you whilst you stay and we’ll welcome you back.”
Soak in the spa, read in the sun-filled rooms or enjoy sitting in the garden, play a game of billiards or have a few drinks in the ambience of an age when people enjoyed their leisure in comfort and style.
