The competition, which tests the all-round ability of athletes across a range of disciplines, was held in Wagga Wagga and attended by some of the state’s best juniors.
Athletes contested up to seven events, with disciplines completed including long jump, shot put, discus, hurdles and 800 metre run.
Albion Park’s Germaine Wright was among the pick of the region’s athletes, winning gold in the under nine boys competition.
Chelsey Wayne, of Wollongong City, followed Wright’s effort with gold in the under 10 girls event.
Wayne’s Wollongong City teammate Chelsea Ezeoke also shone, finishing first in the under 12 girls competition. Eleanor Tozer added a silver for Wollongong City in the under 14 girls event.
Lake Illawarra’s Ryan keen won the silver medal in the under 12 boys event.
