Chantell Gordon was captured on CCTV camera as she entered rear carriage 6923 of a train bound for Wollongong the morning of December 14.
The train was still stationary at Port Kembla station as she lay down, pulled her shorts and underpants below her knees and began masturbating.
She was observed by fellow passenger Shane Brennan, who pulled his penis out of his pants before Gordon performed fellatio.
The encounter ended before their arrival at Port Kembla north station, at which point Gordon briefly exposed her breasts as she used her strapless top to wipe down her chest and face.
She then lay down on another seat and continued to masturbate until Cringila station.
The matter came to the attention of transit police who had been called to an unrelated case of a man urinating on a train at Wollongong.
The officers overheard Brennan saying he had just received a blow job in transit.
They encountered Gordon two minutes later and she admitted having done the deed, telling officers it was her birthday and it was something she had always wanted to do.
Court records indicate Gordon's birthday wasn't for another 22 days.
She was charged with obsene exposure in a public place and offensive behavior.
Magistrate Glenn Walsh considered Gordon's 56-page criminal history before convicting her and ordering her arrest on Wednesday, after she hadn't arrived at court by 12.45pm.
Her criminal history includes previous entries for obscene exposure, and she was once caught having sex with a man in broad daylight in grassy land at Port Kembla.
When police caught up with the pair and asked them what they were doing, they sheepishly responded “just having a little fun before we die”.
For his role in the December encounter, Brennan was issued with court attendance notices for offensive behaviour and obscene exposure. Earlier this month he was ordered to pay a $700 fine and placed on a 12-month good behaviour bond as punishment.
