“Unfortunately we got our wires crossed this year with bookings and by the time we realised it was too late too move either event. We will fix that next year,” organiser Adam Loxley said.
The May 5 event at Gerringong Town Hall and park will host 10 bands, 2 stages, food carts and Five Barrels Brewing.
This year the headline acts are The Bungalows, Pacific Ave and Dos Enos – though the music styles will range from punk reggae to hip hop, Indie, rock and roots.
“We really want the Surf Music Festival to be a weekend destination event for tourists,” Mr Loxley said.
“With support from Kiama Council we have managed to achieve that. It should be great for local business and a great weekend of music and surfing’.
