The draw, to be held at Port Kembla Pool, will reveal who Molik has selected to play the crucial singles rubbers on Saturday. Australian number one Ashleigh Barty is confdent whoever Molik selects will do the job for their country.
“All of us here in the team are here to do our part,” Barty said. “The beauty of our team in this tie is that anyone can play. We’ve genuinely got that healthy competition and four girls who can play and I think all of us can slot into any spot.”
“I think we are all hoping for that singles rubber. It’s one v two on Saturday, so we’ll sort of see which one plays the very first rubber.
“We’re all ready to go, so we’ll let Alicia and Nicole [Pratt] go back and put their brains together and pick what works best.”
