5pm: One lane of Lawrence Hargrave Drive has reopened following an earlier truck and motorcycle crash at Stanwell Park.
The road was closed in both directions between Otford Road and Chellow Dene Avenue.
Motorists can now travel through the area using one lane under stop/slow traffic control.
Traffic is heavy so motorists should allow extra travel time.
Emergency services and traffic crews remain at the crash site.
4.50pm: The badly-injured motorcyclist has been flown to St George Hospital.
3.50pm: Emergency services are on the scene of a serious accident involving a truck and a motorcycle at Stanwell Park on Thursday afternoon.
The two vehicles collided on Lawrence Hargrave Drive about 3.20pm.
Three ambulance crews and a rescue helicopter have responded to the accident.
A NSW Ambulance spokesman said the motorcyclist, a man aged in his early 20s, had sustained serious leg and head injuries.
The man will be airlifted to hospital.
Lawrence Hargrave Drive is closed in both directions between Otford Road and Chellow Dene Avenue.
Traffic in the area is heavy.
Motorists should use the M1 Princes Motorway instead.
