The Vault on Wentworth Street has had its liquor licence amended to a "small bar licence" and now able to open more regularly.
Starting on Sunday February 24, the cabaret-style venue will be open weekly from 3pm to 8pm with tapas, drinks and live music.
"People have just got to know in the local area we are there and open," co-owner Suellen Priest said.
Ms Priest and partner Dave Gorr bought the venue mid-2018 and have opened it sporadically for events.
The pair refurbished and renovated the former bank and nightclub, with a French industrial design concept.
Now they're excited to open weekly to support local musicians and the re-invigoration of the industrial suburb.
Mr Gorr said the main street was starting to get a buzz back into it with a new patisserie opening next door while cafes, galleries and the year-old Servo Food Truck Bar were bringing in more people.
"Everyone is trying to create what Wentworth Street used to be, a place for local people to go and do things," he said.
"It's safe, and it's really turning into a really creative arts hub," added Ms Priest.
The first of the upcoming Sunday sessions will see performances by Jack Willis, Frank Sultana and Blessie Pica.
The tapas menu is "homemade with love" with items like fried haloumi and watermelon bites, polenta and parmesan chips, sliders and Asian-style meatballs.
The recently released Port Kembla Destination Development Plan has suggested a a surf based eco tourism resort around the Coomadtichie lagoon; an ocean crossing zip-line between the mainland (at Hill 60) and one of the adjacent islands; a recreational marine hub for divers and boaters; and converting warehouse space into a digital film studio.
