Previously unpublished pictures of Nowra Hill murder victims Kathryn McKay and her husband, Greg Hosa, were released by their family yesterday. The pictures show the couple on their property, Champagne Shires, which they ran as a horse agistment service. The photographs were taken on Australia Day 2006 - two days before they were killed. On January 29 that year, their badly burned bodies were found in still-smouldering barrels in the Tomerong State Forest.Photographs of Kim Leanne Snibson, 37, and Stacey Lea-Caton, 29, both of Calymea St, Nowra Hill, were tendered in evidence at the trial of their co-accused Andrew Wayne Flentjar, 33.He has pleaded not guilty to kidnapping and murdering Ms McKay and Mr Hosa on January 28, 2006.Snibson pleaded guilty on May 28 to kidnapping and murdering the couple, and Lea-Caton pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting in the murders in November last year.Throughout his trial, Flentjar has maintained he was involved in the couple's kidnapping, but not their murder.Yesterday the officer in charge of the investigation, Detective Senior Constable Paul McCann, told the NSW Supreme Court in Wollongong that Flentjar called the police the day Ms McKay and Mr Hosa's bodies were found. He told police he discovered 44-gallon drum lids in his backyard.Police seized the drum lids and also two blankets that Flentjar's de facto wife Darlene Cowan said Snibson left at their home.Const McCann said police installed listening devices in the Flentjar home on Kalandar St, Nowra East. Within weeks of the listening devices being planted, Flentjar and Cowan were arrested. The court heard that during his arrest, Flentjar said: "I didn't kill anybody or anyone."The trial continues on Monday before Justice Terrence Buddin.
