The centre-back's scorpion kick strike was pure class and would have been getting worldwide coverage on high rotation had it been scored by a player of Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi's stature.
It brought back memories of Riley McGree's stunning scorpion kick goal for Newcastle Jets in the finals of the A-League around the same time last year.
McGree's strike ended up being nominated for FIFA's Puskas Award, which is given to the best goal scored around the globe that season.
You'd expect Djordjevic's version to be in the running for the NSW National Premier League's own goal of the season award later this year.
It's amazing how often goals of that quality are scored when a team is riding high on confidence and winning games.
That winning confidence seems to rub off on everything else you do on the paddock.
For Djordjevic, it is another great personal moment in what has been a really strong start to the NPL campaign for the young defender. He's been able to nail down his spot in the starting line-up alongside Nick Littler with a series of excellent performances after climbing through the junior ranks at the club in recent years.
He and guys like James Stojcevski and Tory Musemeci are perfect examples of the talent we continue to develop at the Wolves and around the region.
