Police have allegedly uncovered an amphetamine factory linked to the Rebels outlaw motorcycle gang during a raid on a property south of Moruya.Far South Coast Inspector Gary Huard said the raid at Bingie was the result of extensive investigations by state and federal police into bikie gangs across NSW."The investigation is linked to one of the members of the Rebel gang," he said.Officers swooped on the premises and arrested three people at 3pm on Tuesday.Watch police footage of a raid in CronullaInsp Huard confirmed that the trio, who came from outside the area, had been released without charge pending further investigation. The South Coast search warrant was one of eight co-ordinated raids conducted on Tuesday across eight NSW properties, including a bikie clubhouse at Cronulla.Six people were arrested in the raids, including two men at gunpoint in the car park of a Sydney McDonald's restaurant after a four-month police investigation into the sale of speed and cocaine. The men, aged 22 and 23, allegedly linked to the Rebels, were arrested at St Peters. In Bingie, police uncovered a vehicle in dense bush on Crown land behind the property after an early morning tip-off from local bushwalkers."(The car) has been here overnight," Insp Huard said. "It's linked to the investigation."The heavy police and media interest in what was, until now, a tranquil spot on the Far South Coast has left nearby residents reeling. One neighbour, who wanted to remain anonymous, was shocked to hear of the arrest."It's a complete shock," she said."They've been good neighbours up until now."
