Police are investigating several fires believed to be the work of arson on the South Coast on Saturday.

Between 4.15pm and 8pm on Saturday, six spot fires were reported to emergency services in the Culburra Beach and Orient Point areas.
They were small spot fires in bushland areas and were extinguished with no damage to property.
Police attended each scene and conducted an extensive canvass.

Police are now appealing for anyone with information about the incidents, to contact Nowra Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
