A Port Kembla woman who police will allege had champagne taste on a tap water budget has been remanded in custody after failing to report to police while on bail for shoplifting charges.

Teresa Courtney stands accused of nicking $320 worth of groceries from Aldi at Barrack Heights in April this year, with the haul allegedly consisting of premium beef and lamb steaks, cashews, a bag Allens lollies and camping items that formed part of the store's weekly "special buys" promotions.
It is alleged Courtney collected the items, put them in an Aldi bag then slipped out the entry door while another customer walked inside the store.
Later that month, Courtney allegedly broke into a home in Crown Street and stole a guitar.
Police circulated CCTV footage of Courtney both internally and to Wollongong mall security on May 11 in an attempt to locate her.
One of the security guards recognised Courtney and spotted her in the GPT centre near Liquorland the following day.
It is alleged the guard watched on as Courtney entered the store, picked up a bottle of Bollinger champagne and hid it in a bag before leaving the shop without paying.
He detained her outside and contacted police.
She was arrested and charged but released on bail on the conditions she report to police daily, abide by a nighttime curfew and live at an address in Kemblawarra Road in Warrawong.
A recent check of police records revealed Courtney had not reported since her release.
She was arrested on Saturday after police allegedly found her trying to hide under a mattress at an address in Northcliffe Drive.
The matter will return to court on Monday.
