El Jamal is facing six charges stemming from the February 17 incident including dangerous driving occasioning death, causing bodily harm by misconduct and negligent driving.

Police will allege the victim was one of three young passengers aboard a Polaris Ranger buggy being driven by El Jamal along Calderwood Road when it rolled and hit a fence just before 10.30am.

The victim, who lived in Sydney, was thrown from the buggy and sustained serious head and chest injuries.

She went into cardiac arrest and had to be revived by paramedics at the scene before she was flown to the Sydney Children's Hospital in a critical condition.

She was placed in an induced coma, however, her condition deteriorated and she died at the hospital two days later.

The other two passengers, both aged 11, received minor injuries.

Police documents outlining the charges against El Jamal claim she was driving the buggy in a "dangerous manner" and on the incorrect side of the road before the crash.

It is understood none of the people on board were wearing seatbelts, despite the vehicle being fitted with two of them.

El Jamal chose not to front Wollongong Local Court for a brief mention of her matter on Tuesday.

Her lawyer, Graeme Morrison, requested the brief of evidence be served on his office by early December.

The case will return to court on December 11 for further mention.
