Dicey Riley's annual St Patrick's Day celebration is going ahead with bands playing from 11am to midnight on Tuesday.
But Laura Valencic said there will be a limit to the number of people who can participate in the event at any one time.
Ms Valencic said a number of changes have been made to make the day of all things Irish safer for patrons.
"We have changed our cleaning routines," she said.
"We are really taking it seriously about how many people will be allowed to be in here.
"We know the limit is 500 and we will be making sure it is completely capped before that.
"We have our bands starting at 11am and they won't finish until 12 tonight".
Ms Valencic said the venue was encouraging people to be patient and flexible.
She said they will be asked to come back later in the day if the venue is nearing the 500 limit.
"We may also have a line where it is one in one out like other places do," she said.
