A near four-month waited ended for the Sky Blues when they took to Jubilee Stadium on Friday night and they made up for lost time, recording a 3-1 win over Wellington. The result puts Sydney FC in a great position to clinch the Premier's Plate.
Despite it being a disrupted season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Shellharbour teen King has found his spot in the team's defence.

King, 19, made his debut in 2018/19 and has gone on to play 19 games this season.
"Joel's a very good young player. He's always willing to learn and he's a great athlete which is very important in today's game," Le Fondre said.
"I think he will have a great future in the game if he keeps learning and wanting to improve. I think that's what's important for a footballer. You have to want to improve every day and he seems to do that every day. So the future is bright for him."
