About the role:
We are seeking a communication specialist who will act as the conduit between our Marketing and all other departments within Journey. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for someone to pull on their skills in Marketing/Communications to develop and deliver a sector leading communications strategy. You will also build content strategies to drive engagement from our potential employees and customer markets.
This position is full-time Monday to Friday and based at Journey HQ, Wooloowin.
This role requires someone who is open to frequent travel to and from our Journey HQ in Sydney to maintain a strong connection with key departments.
Your role will encompass:
- Building and managing engaging candidate content through social, digital, blog posting etc
- Create, implement and manage key communication activities aligned to the business objectives for Journey Early Learning.
- Measure and evaluate the success of internal & external communication activities and recommend improvements/alternative approaches.
- Successful record of developing and managing or executing communication initiatives and campaigns within a large organisation.
- Maintaining and updating our brand content on all marketplace networking sites including Seek, Indeed, Glassdoor, Google Business, Care for Kids and our CRM.
- Managing and maintaining our candidate care communication and our family nurturing program in line with market insights
- Plan, gather and create monthly content in line with our Social Media Strategy, brand guidelines, campaigns, and budget
Skills and experience:
- Experience in content creation
- Have a marketing or communications degree
- Have experience with Social Media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn & YouTube.
- Have skills and experience working with digital tools such as Buffer, WordPress and Canva.
- Be an experienced and passionate content creator.
- Experience using the PageUp Marketing Manager (A nice to have)
- Excellent writing skills with experience writing in a playful yet professional tone of voice.
