DevOps Engineer

Green Light Australia are looking for DevOps Engineer with experience on multiple implementation projects across financial industry sectors and large to corporate enterprises.
 
The DevOps Engineer will be primarily accountable in areas of build, release, deployment and configuration activities for external client projects.
 
 
Responsibilities:

• Design, development, testing (unit & automation), implementation and maintenance of software solutions with a focus on quality and DevOps principle
• A diverse range of full stack development opportunities including new web services and APIs in Java, single paged applications using the latest JavaScript framework
• Drive the adoption of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) patterns, methodologies and technologies.
• Build, release and configuration management of production systems.
• System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains.
• Configure and update Monitoring dashboards for quick response and resolution of alerts.
• Audit automation of CI/ CD process and make recommendations to automate and implement as necessary.

 
 
Requirements:

• 3+ years commercial experience in Java Development
• Experience in integration with external systems/applications (REST API, integration protocols, JSON/XML
• Experience in the integration and customisation of open source technologies (NiFi, Kafka, Elastic (ELK) Stack, Solr)
• Experience in Java and related open source framework
• Experienced in AWS, Jenkins/Ansible, Docker, Git version control system, Puppet, Chef
• Go programming language and groovy pipelines in Jenkins
• Experience in confident automating and streamlining build, test and deployment phases for continuous integration
• Good knowledge of Java Frameworks such as Hibernate, Spring; REST APIs, API Integration

 
Mandatory:

• 3+ years commercial experience in Java Development
• 4+ years experience in CI/CD delivery
• Confident ability to work in a fast-paced environment against tight deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills requiring best approach methods
• Preference will be given to driven and proactive professionals with broad development experience and solid communication skills.
