About the role: 

We have an exciting role available for a Divisional Business Application Manager to join our IT Team. Reporting to the Senior Business Application Manager your responsibilities will include oversight and management of existing Business applications ( Ap21, Dolphin) as well as implementing new ones.  This also includes supporting the business users with application questions, system issues, problem solving, and support of new features after system upgrades
 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Build extensive knowledge and understanding of the POS and ERP solutions, from both functional and technical perspectives.
  • Be the product owner for these core systems and manage day to day requirements
  • Oversee the day-to-day activities and management of the Business application and Development functions with the business and day-to-day system queries, issues, and promote the development of improved process or system use.
  • Liaise with business users and technical teams (both internal and external) to prioritise and resolve system issues, as well as to improve efficiency.
  • Work with users and key stakeholders to drive requirements for system enhancements, and new system projects and new features and manage and create strong relationships with Key vendors.
  • Implementing systems, but also importantly support day to day, administration and maintenance of already existing systems.
  • Understand relevant integrations to other systems, and assist in supporting  and maintain existing integrations between systems
  • Develop and maintain documentation of systems and applications for both IT and business users.
  • Strong Focus on Security across applications to maintain security posture

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • Demonstrated 3-5 years’ Retail Business Applications related experience preferred.
  • Experience with the Magento/ Shopify E-Commerce platform preferred
  • Experience with building, maintaining, and supporting integrations between applications
  • Ap21/ Dolphin ( island Pacific ) experience preferred
  • Strong ERP knowledge of retail required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Demonstrated capability to work across functional teams
  • Project Management knowledge preferred.
