About the role

Every one of our team contributes to helping make our members’ world better. As a Marketing & Communications Specialist in our Member team, you will be responsible for designing, coordinating and implementing direct channel transactional and/or marketing communication to meet our legislative, contractual and business needs.

Key accountabilities could include: 

  • Utilising research and insights to design, develop and execute integrated, multi-channel, end to end communications programs that deliver on member and adviser growth.
  • Working with business stakeholders to understand communication requirements, identify solutions and deliver high quality legislatively, business driven and direct marketing communications to customers.
  • Analysing all relevant customer data including technical business knowledge and market insights to inform segmentation and messaging for communications programs.
  • Planning, managing, forecasting, budgeting and reporting on campaigns – from concept to final production – including re-occurring campaigns, refreshing existing campaigns and introducing new campaigns.
  • Developing compelling integrated campaign and communication concepts in collaboration with the strategy team across all channels including web, social, email, SMS, push SEM, SEO, display advertising and print, driving action that supports member engagement and corporate goals.
  • Leading the embedment of the brand and the next best offer plan by increasing awareness and understanding of the “next steps” required to enhance the entire customer experience.
  • Identifying and implementing customer experience, process and service delivery improvements.
  • Reporting, analysing, and optimising the performance of communications.

This role is available as a 12 month max-term/ secondment opportunity.

About you

If this is the right role for you, your skills and qualifications will include:

  • Proven experience in a direct marketing or customer communications discipline.
  • Degree in Marketing or Communications, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in developing and creating marketing campaigns across EDM, SMS, Push and Direct Mail
  • or experience in delivering transactional communication across these channels
  • Ability to analyse customer data to inform insights.
  • Ability to consult widely and build strong relationships with relevant stakeholders.
  • Goal orientated.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into plain English.

Although not essential, it would be great if you also had experience across the following: 

  • A/B or multi-variant testing and optimisation
  • Marketing automation technology
  • Adobe suite or other graphic design software
  • Mapping out customer journeys & touchpoints
  • Working with multiple agencies
  • Financial services wealth management industry experience
