Jason Hristovski fronted Lithgow court yesterday charged with Mr Sekuljica’s murder, more than five years after the brazen public shooting.
Hristovski also faces an additional charge of shooting with intent to murder.
The 27-year-old’s arrest comes just months after Tarrawanna man Zlatan Popovic was charged over the alleged organised hit.
Police allege Popovic, 40, planned, directed and paid for the hit.
The court is yet to hear details of Hristovski’s involvement with the alleged contract killing.
Police are closing in on several other people, believed to be involved with the shooting, and further arrests are expected this month.
Mr Sekuljica was shot outside the former Wollongong club by a masked gunman just before 3am on September 8, 2007.
The father of two ran back into the nightclub but collapsed near the bar as the shooter fired a further three shots execution-style, including a fatal bullet to his head.
Mr Sekuljica died at the scene while a 44-year-old security guard was shot and injured.
Both men will reappear in Wollongong Local Court on December 19.
