All insurance companies are to blame

I am not sure why you are pillorying the NRMA so much considering that other insurance

companies are doing the same thing.

A relative in Figtree received a renewal from CGU.

Last year the premium was around $800.

This year the renewal was $3856.99.

Historical evidence indicates no danger but pessimistic flood mapping and covering your behind attitude by councils, encouraged by climate change doomsayers, are the cause of these huge rises.

Most people can't afford these increases and will go elsewhere, but it will be difficult to get flood cover for a reasonable price.

After all, no company will want to insure for flood when it is certain that it will occur sometime in the near future.
